PERSONAL DATA

Which personal data do we collect?

You can visit Finanskompetencepuljen.dk without having to log in and/or provide personal data, i.e. data that can be used to personally identify you or anyone else.

You will have to provide personal data, however, if you apply for funding for a training course or if you subscribe to our electronic newsletter. We only ask for data that is required to be able to service your request:

• When you sign up for the newsletter we need to know your e-mailadress and your name in order to identify you and send you relevant information.

• When you sign up for our electronic newsletter, we must know your name and e-mail address to be able to unequivocally identify you and e-mail the newsletter to you;

• When we process your application, we need information about your name, the name of your company’s contact person, your civil ID number, telephone number and e-mail address.

We regularly extract anonymised data about the number of applications and the breakdown by gender, age, geographical location, job function and courses. It is not possible to identify individuals based on these data extracts, the sole purpose of which is to obtain an overall picture of who is applying and what they are applying for. The information is used internally to analyse and improve the work of Finanskompetencepuljen.

We always process the information we collect confidentially, and we do not re-sell data to any third parties. To the extent required by law, we do disclose information to the relevant authorities, however.

How can you have your personal data deleted?

We delete your personal information (your e-mailadress and preferences in subjects) when you unsubscribe the newsletter. You unsubscribe by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe link’.

We always delete civil registration numbers as soon as we have approved an application. We keep the rest of the information for one year for servicing and documentation purposes. After this the information is automatically deleted. If, on your own initiative, you request us to delete the personal data which you have personally submitted on Finanskompetencepuljen.dk, we kindly ask you to e-mail finanskompetencepulje@finansforbundet.dk. We will delete your data as soon as possible, usually within five workdays.
Please note that this type of deletion could result in a situation where you are unable to take part in a course, etc., for which you have applied. We always zero-set civil ID numbers as soon as we have approved an application. We retain the remaining information for as long as we need it to be able to serve you, and for as long as it is permitted by law. As soon as the need no longer exists, we delete the information. If, on your own initiative, you wish to have deleted the personal data which you have personally submitted on Finanskompetencepuljen.dk, we kindly ask you to e-mail finanskompetencepulje@finansforbundet.dk. We will delete your data as soon as possible, usually within five workdays.

OTHER INFORMATION

What types of other information do we collect and how do we collect it?

In addition to the personal information you personally submit to the website, we collect information that makes it possible for us to generate anonymised statistics concerning the use of the website. For instance, we compile statistics about the number of visits to the website and about the pages with the highest visit frequency. The statistics do not contain any information that can identify you as an individual, and we solely use the statistics to improve the website and the selection of courses. For instance, we might adjust the selection of courses if, according to the statistics, we can detect a great interest in a specific type of course. We collect the information using cookies, which is a small text file saved by the website on your computer to keep track of what takes place during your visit and to be able to recognise your computer. A cookie contains text only; it is not a program and it does not contain viruses. We need cookies to make the website work as intended. For instance, a cookie remembers whether the same user has previously visited a specific page and it remembers how long the visit lasted. We do not resell the data and, needless to say, we observe the law in effect from time to time.
This includes that you can see a table with the cookies we save on your computer if you have given your acceptance.

See the table with the cookie declaration at the bottom of the page.

How can you have the rest of your personal data deleted?

You can always reject the use of cookies on your computer by changing the settings in your internet browser. The location of these settings depends on the browser you are using. Please note, however, that there will be many functions and services that you will not be able to use because they require the website, via the cookies, to remember the choices you make. You can also delete cookies that you have previously accepted. If you use a computer with a more recent internet browser, you can delete your cookies using the short-cut keys CTRL + SHIFT + DELETE. If the short-cut key solution doesn’t work, and/or if you are using a MAC, you should start by determining which browser you are using and then clicking the relevant link:
