Get Ready for AI – with Support from the Financial Competence Fund
Artificial intelligence is no longer something that lies in the future. AI and generative AI are already part of everyday life in the financial sector – and the need for new AI skills is growing rapidly. That is why the Finanskompetencepuljen has launched a dedicated AI initiative, making it easier for you to build fundamental AI competencies.
The AI initiative gives you the opportunity to participate in practical, introductory AI courses that better equip you to understand and apply AI in your work.
An AI Course – in Addition to Your Regular Course
As an applicant to Finanskompetencepuljen, you can apply for funding for one AI course in addition to the Fund’s regular course offerings. This means that an AI course does not count toward the standard rule of one course within 12 months.
In other words, you can:
- take a foundational AI course in 2026, and
- still apply for funding for another course from the Fund’s regular offerings within 12 months.
The foundational AI courses you can choose from are listed below. The courses can be applied for as both individual courses and company courses. For larger company courses, a specific assessment will be made to determine whether the course can be financed under the AI initiative.
The AI initiative is time-limited to 2026 and is financed within a fixed budget – therefore, we recommend applying well in advance.
