Strategy and Leadership for Innovation



The aim of this course is to teach students how to develop an innovation strategy, and to empower, coach and lead employees and teams to recognize opportunities, innovate, and capitalize on ideas that are aligned with the determined strategic orientation.

The course will prepare students for making informed strategic decisions that lead to an advantageous competitive position, and for taking a leadership role in critical innovation activities leading to that position.

´The students learn to:
- set the strategic boundaries, directions and support systems for innovation efforts,
- distinguish, appreciate, and develop business models, people, structures, and processes which enable these efforts and facilitate their success.
